At the time, the actress and her fashion designer hubby were said to have believed prosecutors were "bluffing" when they said the two could face serious jail time over the charges.

On Tuesday, both of them along with 14 other parents were accused of money laundering conspiracy. The reality of this situation has finally hit her like a ton of bricks.

All of this comes on the heels of news that their daughter Olivia Jade has seemingly cut off communication with her parents and has been seen out partying with her pals.

Earlier this week, Krakow - who also serves as an executive producer - took to Twitter to share a cryptic message that many have interpreted as a nod to her friend and former colleague, Loughlin.

The public perception of Loughlin's alleged scam is "nothing compared to what her daughters think of her". A plea deal would have probably meant four to ten months in prison, which is what Felicity Huffman is facing now that she has accepted the plea. According to a source who spoke with E!

"She has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by".

In the days following their rejection, the 54-year-old is said to be kicking herself for not taking the deal that could have drastically reduced their sentences, and is reportedly "freaking out" as the prospect of jail time looms over them.

Lori Loughlin is just a mom, standing in front of a judge, asking him to exonerate her. "I want to apologize to them and, especially, I want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices to support their children and do so honestly". Loughlin and Giannulli are facing charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, and last week the U.S. Attorney's Office announced that the couple are also among the 16 parents being charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering.

Good news, Hearties: Hallmark Channel has renewed When Calls the Heart for Season 7, weeks ahead of Season 6's return.

Loughlin, who was indicted last month in connection with a bribery scheme in which rich parents paid big bucks to get their kids into elite schools, was sacked by Hallmark soon after the scandal hit, and the show took a break to explore its "creative options".
