The Rebel's blockade runner, known as the Tantive IV to any half-decent fan, wasn't on screen for very long, but it was still our first glimpse at the great many ships Star Wars has to offer.

The next LEGO Star Wars exclusive set will be 75244 Tantive IV from the opening of the original 1977 movie.

If you are at Star Wars Celebration be sure to stop by the LEGO booth to see their displays and showcase of 20 years of Star Wars and LEGO sets!

Interestingly the set is not labeled as an Ultimate Collectors Series (UCS) set nor as a Master Builder Series (MBS) playset, though the packaging is similar to both.

Their record-setting achievement is a 20-foo- by-20-foot display in the shape of a Stormtrooper helmet made up of LEGO® Star Wars™ minifigures!

Other details include detachable escape pods, elevating turret guns, spring-loaded shooters and eleven engines at the rear of the craft. Lego stated that the "Star Wars" line includes more than 700 different sets and 1,000 minifigures. Remove the hull plating of this fantastic LEGO Star Wars vehicle to reveal a detailed 2-minifigure cockpit, conference area with table, weapon rack and a control console with 2 seats. The radar dish also doubles as a convenient carry handle, which makes it ideal for flying around the room. When the mission is over, this unbelievable kids' buildable toy also makes a great centerpiece for any LEGO Star Wars collection. R2-D2 is there too, though I wouldn't count him as a minifigure, and it seems you can swap Leia's skirt for pants if you'd prefer.

LEGO Group celebrates the 20th anniversary of its iconic LEGO Star Wars theme by breaking a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for largest display of LEGO Star Wars minifigures at Star Wars Celebration at McCormick Place in Chicago, April 11, 2019. The top hull detaches to reveal a detailed interior including a conference table, weapon rack and a control console with 2 seats for the minifigures.

Captain Antilles minifigure is an updated version from 2009, while Princess Leia's skirt and Bail Organa are new for April 2019.

This set is more modest at 1,768 pieces but is still set to be a building challenge for ages 12 and over. Check out the logo for the exciting new Star Wars series in the post below. It's 62cm long, so is still quite sizeable. Naturally 2019 was the ideal time to bring it back, and it'll be arriving in the Lego store on 3rd May.
