K-pop band BTS has done it again: smashing the YouTube record Blackpink broke only last week. The exact numbers are still being calculated by YouTube, but now, a little over 36 hours since its release, the MV is already at 100 million views. Released on May 18, 2018 at 6 p.m. KST, it took "Fake Love" about 10 months, 26 days, 20 hours, and 7 minutes to reach this number.

Korean music group BTS made their historic "Saturday Night Live" debut with a flawless, hard-hitting performance Saturday night. The energy in the live studio audience is palpable in both YouTube clips of their performances - of "Mic Drop" and the new song, "Boy With Luv" - with the usual polite clapping replaced by shrieking cheers. The Korean septet has built a fan base that's broad (its videos are viewed many hundreds of millions of times each), deep (its fans tend to be intensely devoted, especially on social media) and fully worldwide (its new record, Map of the Soul: Persona, is nearly certain to top the US album charts this week).

What new heights will the boys reach?

Watching them perform (if you haven't before), it's easy to see what's so appealing.
