During the fan festival of the game in Paris, it was announced that Naoki Yoshida (the producer of the game) would have some important information.

Shadowbringers is the next expansion for Final Fantasy 14 and is bringing a lot of change to the MMORPG.

Apart from this, the thing which attracts us the most is the announcement of a new job in the game and that job is of a Dancer. Yoshida also said to GameSpot that, due in part to the high complexity and challenge of creating new races and balancing them, Hrothgar might be the final new race added to Final Fantasy XIV Online. It uses throwing weapons, like the rings the model is holding in the key art. Some skills will even buff your party mates. You'll need to head to Limsa Lominsa at launch and start a quest to unlock this new job.

The other city is Eulmore, a city built to live it up before the world ended.

The Crystarium is a lovely city built around the Crystal Tower and it has some great purple foliage and buildings with lots of natural lighting. This will serve as the new hub for upcoming content. While the top part of the city is lavish and filled with happy nobles, the bottom part of the city doesn't have it as well off. In the expansion, the players will become the Warrior of Darkness. We also got to see more of the high-end raids called the Scourge of the First: Sin Eaters that features a boss designed by Tetsuya Nomura.

Video game stories from other sites on the web.

New Player Race - Hrothgar: The male-only Hrothgar player race compliments the recently announced female-only Viera as the second new playable race inShadowbringers. There are male viera, and presumably female hrothgar, but apparently they're off doing something else. The third major expansion, Shadowbringers will release on 2nd July, 2019.

Final Fantasy 14 is available to play on Windows, Mac, and PlayStation 4.
