OnePlus 3 and 3T Gets Android 9.0 Pie Closed Beta Update

So far, OnePlus has held beta programs and officially released Android Pie for the OnePlus 6 back in September, and the OnePlus 5 and 5T back in December. Its OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T received Android Pie update in December previous year.

OnePlus always remain ahead in providing the latest upgrades on its devices. After rolling out Android Pie update on OnePlus 5 and 5T previous year, now the company is dishing out the upgrade for OnePlus 3/3T. Now, OnePlus has finally started taking registrations for Android Pie-based OxygenOS closed beta beginning the process of an impending rollout, and reinstilling hopes in OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users. As of now, the closed beta will be limited for very few users.

Before you head to the link and sign up, you must know that OnePlus community members will need to offer extensive feedback and frequently flash new builds that will usually involve wiping the internal storage. Also, note that this is for the Hydrogen OS and not Oxygen OS.

The registration will close at 7:30 pm (IST) on March 23rd.

OnePlus 3 and 3T has already received two major upgrades. The company released the Oxygen OS 9 update based on Android 9.0 Pie for the OnePlus 5 and 5T in December a year ago.

The Android Pie update will bring a range of new features including new interface, new text notification mode and support for notifications from third-party calls. Unlike earlier, the users can now choose any color for the UI with the new accent color option.
