The game was announced during the company's Nindies Showcase today. The announcement was accompanied with a pretty nice earwormy song that basically repeated how Cuphead's coming to Switch so you're sure to not forget about it for the rest of the week. It's slated for PC and Xbox One, but wasn't mentioned during the Nintendo stream today. There are also a few games either releasing today or becoming available for pre-order on the Eshop today, and an indie game sale is now underway.

Studio MDHR's incredibly hard Cuphead title is making its way to the Nintendo Switch.

Cuphead will be coming to Nintendo Switch on 18th April 2019, with achievements and other Xbox Live features likely to be added at a later date.

In addition to the game's launch on Switch, a major, free content update will also make its way to all versions of Cuphead (Xbox One, PC, Mac) on the same day.

Settle in for 25 minutes of Nintendo Switch reveals, folks. In fact, its unique retro cartoon art style is arguably worth the price of admission alone. While Microsoft has put forth tentative plans to bring Live to Switch, iOS, and Android, Cuphead will be the first actual game to carry it over, meaning we'll finally see how well this crossover works. That might be a bit of wishful thinking, but we'll keep an eye out for more details regardless. For now, head down to the comments section and let us know if you'll be picking up Cuphead when it arrives on Switch next month!
