The dark mode is available for both iOS and Android users of the productivity app. The desktop app doesn't have dark mode support at all, but it's in the works. Tap the confirmation dialog that appears to turn on dark mode. After this, you can toggle the feature off and on. At present, you can only experience dark mode in the beta version of the mobile app.

Note: It can potentially take a few hours between when you sign up and when you'll actually be admitted to the program. To actually join you just need to give your name and email address.

The workplace chat app Slack has joined the likes of Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Google Chrome, Android, Windows 10 and MacOS in providing a dark interface option to its users. The good news is that Slack iOS and Android users can access the dark mode feature by joining the program right now. The app will restart in order to apply the dark mode. Currently, the dark theme has hit headers, settings menus and pop-ups of the app.

Earlier this year, an Android Q leaked to unveil that Google would introduce a system-wide dark mode.

If you're more bothered by the color of Slack messages than the contents therein, the Slack dark mode was made for you.

First, download the latest update from the Google Play Store. Update the app and then navigate Settings and make certain Dark Mode is enabled.

We can't go through every single app for Android and iOS with a dark mode, but those are the main ones. It also helps conserve the battery. White backgrounds are a huge battery hog and for people with weaker devices it's even worse.
