Toronto native Drake continued to show love for his hometown on Wednesday night as the Raptors' training facility was renamed after his record label OVO.

"Drake and OVO are an important part of our city's landscape, our team's identity, and our plans to bring a championship to Toronto", Raptors president Masai Ujiri said via a team release.

The Toronto rapper's partnership with his hometown team has been growing steadily ever since he was named an ambassador for the club back in 2013. "This new naming rights deal for our training facility is a flawless example of the strength of this partnership and the innovative opportunities it can generate". But with his own space in both the Raptors home arena and their practice facility, it's safe to say the team's partnership with "The Boy" isn't going to fade away any time soon.

The Toronto Raptors have announced that the "Toronto Raptors Training Centre" is no more.

The rebranding of the facility includes OVO Athletic Centre signage - with its recognizable owl logo - inside and outside the facility, and Raptors practice jerseys will feature the owl logo on the upper left chest.

In January of a year ago, Drake and the Raptors announced six "Welcome Toronto" and OVO-themed home games each season, with the Raptors wearing their OVO-edition uniforms and a new black and gold home court for each game. He went from the sidelines to the locker room in December when the team revealed that Demar DeRozan's vacant locker had finally been reassigned.

Drake has been a presence at Raptors' games for the last decade, chatting with Kevin Durant and LeBron James from his courtside seats in recent years.
