Holly Willoughby has posted a attractive tribute to her grandmother who has passed away.

The presenter posted a attractive picture with her grandmother on Instagram, as she wrote: "Today we say goodbye for a little while to my lovely Nan". In 2017, she shared a picture of them together, telling her fans her Nan was the "chief" of the family.

Holly, who will be replaced by Rylan Clark-Neal on today's show, took to her Instagram page to share a lovely photo alongside her late nan, revealing she will be attending her funeral today. There's a possibility the last time it was seen was in McDonald's. Get Me Out Of Here! pal Emily Atack, shared a backstage snap of him with their captain Holly and the Inbetweener' star at the studio shooting the new series of Keith Lemon's ITV2 panel show. "It's so heartbreaking when you loose a loved one".

"Awh so sorry Holly, it's always hard to lose someone you love", another commented.

"Welcome to Thursday's This Morning. You may have noticed that I'm all by myself", she began. "This is very unusual", she added.

Willoughby's solo presenting gig comes as a surprise as a member of the This Morning family are usually called in as a last minute stand-in.
