Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe in the USA and on Netflix internationally. We'd already heard that both Deathstroke and his son Jericho would be showing up in the next run and today, Deadline reports that Esai Morales has snagged the role of Slade Wilson.

The fight against evil on DC Universe's Titans just got a lot deadlier. Most famously, Ron Perlman voiced the mercenary on Cartoon Network's Teen Titans animated series. The character has popped up in various media over the years; he's figured in the storylines of a multitude of DC animated films, was featured as a playable character in the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us, and has even gotten the live-action treatment a few times previously.

Titans producer Geoff Johns previously teased that the series would introduce Slade Wilson at last year's New York Comic-Con. Joe Manganiello played Deathstroke in a post-credits scene in 2017's Justice League. He has also appeared in the films La Bamba and the SuperFly remake. That cliffhanger is one that suggests an expansion to the character roster, including a newly announced Deathstroke.

Now, however, it appears as if we're about to get another iteration of the Terminator in season 2 of DC Universe's Titans. How do you think Esai Morales will fare as Deathstroke? "While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge", reads the DC Universe description of the character in Titans.
