BTS have announced the new album release date.

Throughout its career, the Seoul-based group has released six albums altogether - three in Korean, their native tongue, and an additional three in Japanese. The album will be out on April 12.

PERSONA marks the beginning of a new chapter, after their last release LOVE YOURSELF "Answer" which debuted at #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200, cementing the band's global presence in 2018.

The group updated ET on their new music during an exclusive interview at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards in February. Where do you go after two No. 1 albums and a sold-out stadium tour?

In the wake of the new album news, an army of loyal BTS followers swarmed Twitter with messages of love, gratitude and excitement.

Preorders for the album will be available, starting March 13th! The original comeback for BTS was initially scheduled to begin in May, but that start date has been pushed to an earlier date.

BTS are now gearing up to head on their world tour kicking off at Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, California on May 4th. Set to kick off in May, the boy group will tour cities in Asia, Europe, and the United States.
