Some of the Kardashian and Jenner sisters are making sure their kids turn a profit.

Kim and Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, have filed documents to trademark the names of their children, TMZ reports.

Kim Kardashian West wants to use their children's names on products including clothing, skin care, and toys, and also be able to sign endorsement deals.

"It's genuinely what I wanted... to be a young mom", Jenner said of daughter Stormi, who celebrated her first birthday on Feb 1.

After Jenner "spent every last dime that I had starting it [Kylie Cosmetics], not even knowing if it would be successful", her company was valued at almost $800 million by Forbes in 2018, the same year she welcomed her first child with boyfriend Travis Scott.

They're some of the most famous faces on the planet thanks to their long-running show Keeping Up With The Kardashians but have actually made the bulk of their wealth from creating products and endorsing brands.

The business mogul and E! reality star sets the record straight on what she has (and hasn't) done to cosmetically enhance her figure in the latest issue of PAPER magazine.

"At the beginning I was bright-eyed and everything was exciting". I've learnt you have to believe in your brand.

"It's so much better when you can say no to 500 things and say yes to that one [project] that speaks to your soul".
