It all started after the actress' recent pictures went viral in which she had a tiny bump on her tummy.

Priyanka Chopra debuted in Bollywood three years after she was crowned Miss World and after the success of films like Andaaz, Aitraaz and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi there was no looking back for her. Soon after their marriage and the reception, the couple flew back to U.S. and started continuing with their profession until one day the reports of Priyanka Chopra being pregnant came that made all of her fans happy but no official announcement about the same was given. Her silence has been a greater driver in making people think that she's expecting. While speaking about her achievements, Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra has revealed that she was initially anxious about her daughter's rise in the film industry. "It was a bad angle", she said in an interview to Mid-Day, "The outfit was nice. Blame it on the camera angle!" Madhu told the news agency PTI, 'There were times when I had doubts, if this is the right way she's going. "I told her what people were saying, and she simply said, 'Mamma, give me a break!'", add Madhu Chopra. Only in the initial days I was anxious. She has the final say, on the creatives and every aspect of filmmaking. "She looks after every aspect of filmmaking, it's her baby".

Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in the film The Sky is Pink which is directed by Shonali Bose. Well now PC's mother Madhu Chopra has finally open up about the whole fiasco and has given a reality check. The difficulty then was people taking you seriously. Our films have been very well received. PeeCee had said, "Usually Indian weddings have like a thousand people, we had only 200 which was mostly family. We wanted to keep it just about family". She wanted a very intimate wedding. The actor's mother, Madhu Chopra, has now dismissed the speculation for what it was - a few photos with a particular camera angle.

Priyanka's upcoming Isn't It Romantic tells the story of a NY architect Natalie (Wilson) who works hard to get noticed at her job, but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design. That's her choice. For me it was like a shock! "But she took her scissors and (cut all the names)". It will also star Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles.
