Lin was enjoying a dazzling breakout season in NY in 2011-12 when he brought his "Linsanity" road show to Toronto, draining a three-point dagger at the buzzer to lift the Knicks 90-87 over the Raptors.

Raptors guard Fred VanVleet was not available. But I think there is a pocket of guys that go above and beyond that. "You know? You've got to get motivated". The Raptors' All-Star forward is well aware of the opponent's shot blocking ability, so he chose to take a fade-away jumper instead of going straight to the basket. The video of his memorably buzzer-beater in Toronto made the social media rounds.

"He was good. I don't know if he was dominating, but he was better than he'd been", Nurse said.

It appeared as though Leonard was still in a funk when the Raptors (42-16) struggled to find their pace in the opening quarter.

Toronto led 120-114 on a three by Lowry at 2:45 of the fourth but Crabbe replied with back-to-back three-pointers to tie it at 120 at 1:34.

The Raptors were looking for a third point guard after trading Delon Wright to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of the deal to acquire Marc Gasol last week. He added a pair of assists and some key defensive stops in the fourth.

Gasol received a standing ovation when he checked in for Ibaka at 3:03 of the first. "It kind of made me feel like a rookie again".

D'Angelo Russell had a team-high 28 points for the Nets (29-29), who made 20 three-point baskets.

Kawhi Leonard #2 of the Toronto Raptors looks on against the Milwaukee Bucks on January 31, 2019 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

ESPN reports point guard Jeremy Lin is finalizing a buyout with the Atlanta Hawks to allow him to sign with the Toronto Raptors.

VanVleet, who turns 25 on February 25, is expected to wear a splint for approximately three weeks, and his condition will then be updated. The team said he injured himself during the second quarter of the Raptors' 104-99 victory on Saturday at the New York Knicks.
