Other new additions include AirPlay 2 support - a huge boon for Apple aficionados - and a far-field microphone-equipped remote that will allow you to use voice commands from anywhere in the room. "They join the 2019 QLED 8K line, which is available in five sizes ranging from 65 to 98 inches". You purchase or pre-order the new TVs on Samsung's website or pick one up at an authorized seller. All are smart TV models, support high dynamic range (HDR) and boast Samsung's AI (artificial-intelligence)-powered 8K Quantum Processor, AI-assisted 8K upscaling, Bixby voice control, and an enhanced version of the ambient mode introduced in 2018, which is created to help the TV blend into the environment by mimicking the pattern on the wall behind it.

Samsung's press announcement mentioned a 98-inch 8K model, which is not listed on the company website and apparently slated for release at a later date. The 2019 QLED 4K line spans four series-Q60, Q70, Q80 and Q90-that range from 43 to 82 inches. Pricing was not announced.

"Samsung's QLED lineup offers 4K and 8K models in a range of sizes to suit the needs of every home and every lifestyle".

While the new TVs are pretty feature-heavy, Samsung has introduced a few crucial upgrades on the display side like adding Direct Full Array lighting to its mid-range Q70 this year alongside the Q80 and Q90 (a.k.a. the 8FN and Q9FN equivalents for this year).

There's also a new technology called "Ultra Viewing Angle" now found on the Q90 and Q80 restructures the TV's panels to reduce glare and enhance colors at wider viewing angles.

After revealing at CES 2019 that some of its new TVs would ship with an iTunes Store app and AirPlay 2 support, Samsung announced today that its QLED TVs are shipping out now. "It brings together innovative feature enhancements and exciting content and service partnerships to deliver a truly groundbreaking viewing experience and unprecedented value". "This year's lineup represents our largest screen size offering ever".
