Police issue warning to students over woman seeking date for her son

She produced her cell phone and showed students a picture of her son, before asking them if they were interested in going on a date with him, as reported by The Baltimore Sun.

A concerned mom is trying to play Cupid for her single son.

Alongside a picture of the woman, the police said: "The Towson University Polie Department is asking for the communiyt's help in ideitying the person below".

Campus police have released an image of the woman from surveillance footage and asked the student body for help in identifying her.

It's nearly Valentine's Day, and at Towson University in Maryland a mother has been trying so hard to find a date for her son that police are concerned. "The subject of interest is described as a female, appearing to be in her 50s, with glasses, wearing blue jeans and a striped long-sleeve shirt with red trim along the bottom, a multicolored scarf, brown shoes and carrying a dark-colored coat". "This advisory is meant to heighten awareness and inform the community of incidents that may impact their safety and security".
