The Power's extended battery life is its only unique selling point though, so if endurace isn't a concern then this likely isn't the phone for you. The Moto G7 Play comes with a single 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. And yet again, there is no disappointment with this year's G7 lineup. Motorola has chose to take away the bezels; offering bigger displays and stronger batteries. It also has a 3,000 mAh battery. The three G7 will go on sale in March, adding a fourth model (the Moto G7 Plus, with a Snapdragon 636 and slightly higher cameras) in some markets.

Moto G7 Plus shares numerous Moto G7's core specs, like a 6.2-inch FHD+ screen, teardrop notch and Gorilla Glass backing. Leaving the display technology aside, Moto G4 Plus is fueled by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 617 CPU which clocks at 1.5GHz.

The G7 Plus is a camera-centric smartphone that offers a 16MP+5MP rear dual camera setup optimized for low-light photography. For better portrait mode experience, the G7 has a 5-megapixel depth sensor, unlike other G7 phones with software-based portrait mode. TurboPower charging means you can effectively top up the battery to give you 9 additional hours of use in just 15 minutes of charge. From left to right we have the G7 Play, the G7 Power, and the standard G7.

All told, I like that Moto is paring down its budget offerings into something that's more manageable and easier to digest, and with all three handsets slated to be available unlocked, potential buyers won't have to worry about things like network compatibility. We will let you know more as and when we get official information in this regard.

The Moto G7 Power's 5,000-mAh battery takes center stage on this device, promising 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge.

It's the smallest of the G7 phones, with the Power, Plus and G7 all sporting 6.2-inch displays. Regardless, all four G7 models offer dedicated microSD card slots for storage expansion up to 512GB.

Like the G7, the G7 Power has a Gorilla Glass rear panel and a 6.2-inch screen; but the Power screen has a disappointing resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The G7 Play has a RAM of just 2GB and its plastic case is very cheap.

Moto G4 Plus was powered by Android 6.0.1 when it was first released, but now, all Moto G4 Plus users can get Google's Android 8.0 Oreo operating system which comes with a plethora of features and software tweaks that take the smartphone's performances to the next level. Other features include a USB-C charging and data transfer port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Moto G7 is an Amazon-exclusive device (in the United Kingdom at least), so don't expect to pick it up from your local phone shop or other online vendors - it's priced at $299 (£239, around AU$437). All phones are unlocked for all USA carriers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon).
