In addition to all of his other reefer-related activities, Tyson recently announced plans to host a weed-themed music festival on his ranch on February 23.

Iron Mike got into the marijuana business previous year and he now owns a 40-acre ranch in California, where he grows various strands of weed including his own Conor McGregor-approved "KO Kush".

The land is situated in California City to the southwest of Death Valley - with the town having a population of 15,000. The ranch also has its own amphitheater, complete with luxury camping area and cabins.

Tyson has linked up with business partners Jay Strommen and Robert Hickman and has the full support of the city's mayor, Jennifer Wood.

Tyson even admitted to smoking marijuana before he beat Andrew Golota in 2000, which he won after Golota failed to answer the bell for the third round.

UFC star Conor McGregor hailed Tyson's weed after the pair met in Dublin last November.

The controversial boxer, has never been afraid to buck the trend and he is keen for there to be more research into the benefits of marijuana, specifically CBD, which has no psychoactive properties and is used to treat inflammatory ailments.

The Brooklyn born fighter has said he took cannabis all his life but only smoked it before the Golata contest.

It also stands to be a lucrative business for Tyson, with the sales of legal marijuana estimated to reach $24.5billion by 2021, according to Forbes.
