Shooting guard Anthony Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia has chose to stay in his home state.

1 prospect in high school basketball's Class of 2019 by 247Sports, Anthony Edwards of Holy Spirit Prep (Atlanta, Ga.) committed to Georgia on Monday morning.

After eliminating UNC from his list last week, Edwards later changed his mind on visiting Florida State.

Edwards is the Bulldogs' third commit from the 2019 class, joining Chaminade-Madonna Prep (Hollywood, Fla.) wing Toumani Camara and Carver High School (Montgomery, Ala.) wing Jaykwon Walton. He took official visits to both Georgia and Kentucky, and he also went to Athens unofficially at least one time since his December official visit.

Crean, in his first season coaching the Bulldogs, coached Wade at Marquette and Oladipo at Indiana.

"Two of my favorite players, Dwyane Wade and Victor Oladipo, were coached by Tom Crean", Edwards told 247Sports' Evan Daniels after announcing his choice on CBS Sports HQ. "On my visit we watched film together, and he talks with so much energy".
