Alexis Sanchez is eyeing a dream Champions League crown with Manchester United as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16.

Solskjaer revealed Glazer congratulated his players after the game, but he didn't reveal too many details about his discussions with the American businessman. "He came into the dressing room".

"I think there were some bad mistakes made in the appointment, I think Man Utd lost their way in terms of who they are and their identity and are only now trying to rediscover that". Who I meet and when I meet people is not really up for me to tell. "I would like to thank Ole and the coaching staff for their continued support in my development". Manchester United has been a big part of my life for eight years and I love everything about this club.

Solskjaer's men doubled their lead in the 23rd minute when Phil Jones handed the ball to Martial in United's own half, who then proceeded to dribble past two opposition players into Fulham's box and slot it home brilliantly.

Discussing his decision to change his line-up, which including leaving Marcus Rashford on the bench after he picked up a knock at Leicester, Solskjaer said: "If we are going to be successful this season, we need everyone to contribute and everyone in the squad knows they've got chance to contribute if it's now or next week or the week after".

"We were very far and now, to get back to the top four, is a good result".

The Telegraph's chief football correspondent, Jason Burt, also agreed, adding: "I think Mourinho was a poor appointment in the first place".

"It is true that I finish my contract [at the end of the season], it is true that we are in talks to discuss [a new deal]", he said.

Those games could be crucial for Solskjaer with United now challenging for the top following their resurgence.

The former Juventus man played very well and won the Man of the Match award as Solskjaer won his eighth of nine Premier League games to put the team in fourth place in the league, ahead of Chelsea's game against Manchester City on Sunday. "I've been in that situation a few times myself and it's about who grabs it".
