She certainly had a beef!

Police are looking for a woman accused of smashing a New York City restaurant's windows and front door with a bat over beef patties.

The woman entered the Back Home Restaurant on East 169th Street near Boston Road in Morrisania around 4:20 p.m. on January 15 and ordered a beef patty, police said.

On Saturday, police released surveillance video of the woman in action in the Bronx - smashing a restaurant's windows after learning the eatery had run out of her favourite food.

When the employee informed the woman there were no beef patties in stock, she became upset and left, police said.

Employees also told ABC7NY that the woman was a regular customer who spoke about her pregnancy and was "always cordial" in the past until her alleged "hangry" outburst.

Johnson says the woman returned a few minutes later... this time with her weapon. She was last seen wearing a black and white fur hooded winter jacket, black leggings, black and white sneakers and carrying a multi-colored aluminum baseball bat.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
