The Google Chrome 73 version is scheduled to release in the coming month.

The blog post confirms the feature will be coming to Chrome 73, which was just promoted to the Beta channel and is therefore expected to hit general release in just a few weeks.

Other changes include the reorganization of settings (password, payment methods, etc.), Picture-in-Picture mode in Chrome browser enabled by default when opening a video file, the USBGuard security system to prevent attacks from scanners, printers and other storage media and optimization of the Chrome browser for touchscreen devices.

The Chrome OS 72.0.3626.97 (Platform version: 11316.123.0, 11316.123.1) is now rolling out for most Chromebook devices.

Apart from that, Google has added a Picture-in-Picture mode in the Chrome Browser for its OS using which you can easily navigate between multiple sites on your Chrome Browser.

The Google Assistant will be available via a pill-shaped bar at the bottom of the screen, ready for your web queries or your questions about the day's weather (you'll also be able to say "hey Google" to access the same features).

The new version of Chrome OS also comes with Google Assistant support, as well as Android 9 Pie, which are two major improvements that enhance the performance of the Chrome OS. Google always focuses on the safety of its users, and this update came with some security enhancements as well. Thanks to this, there won't be any vulnerable activities allowed in Networking.
