Gemma Collins is now appearing on ITV show Dancing On Ice 2019, performing entertaining routines every Sunday night with ice skating professional Matt Evers.

Speaking from his experience as a professional on Strictly and as a contestant on Dancing on Ice, Ola's husband James added: "From being involved in it, I would say that the danger factor on ice far, far outweighs the danger factor on Strictly... because yes we have to do lifts, but doing it on ice with a thin blade... it is really, really risky, especially for the female professionals on Dancing on Ice".

The Towie star has had a rough ride in the ITV show, falling out with judge Jason Gardiner live on air, attracting criticism for her diva antics, and falling flat on her face during a skate.

When the panel were deciding who to send home he said: 'It is very easy for me to say this.

But Collins' number was finally up when she found herself in the skate-off for the first time against Ryan Sidebottom and Brandee Malto.

Definitely no love lost there - and viewers picked up on the tension. Get Me Out Of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebs Go Dating, recently posted a nostalgic set of throwback pictures with her best friend who does not appear on the programme.

Fans, who felt it was time for her to go, were thrilled with the result.

Asked whether she would carry on skating, she replied: "Probably not".

"You improved so much & worked so hard!" But you know what, I have enjoyed working on my fitness and do want to keep that up.

"And I'm taking (partner Matt Evers) to Gucci to get you a bag, you've been unbelievable". The star concluded: 'It has been so fun, ' before taking to the ice for one last time.
