Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William walk BAFTAs red carpet

Her date for the night was of course, Prince William, who cut a stylish figure in a black tuxedo and slick loafers.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have made a stunning red carpet appearance for the third consequtive year at the annual BAFTA Awards 2019.

The Duchess wore an ivory, bridal-inspired one-shoulder gown reportedly designed by one of her favourite fashion houses, Alexander McQueen.

The royal couple were given a warm welcome from an excited crowd as they walked the red carpet looking regal at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Sunday.

Kate Middleton has several pieces of jewellery from Princes Diana's collection, which she uses every now and then.

The mum-of-three also wore Princess Diana's diamond and south sea pearl dangle earrings, with an equally exquisite diamond bracelet.

The royal couple sat in the front row for the star-studded awards ceremony and greeted some of the night's winners, including best actress victor Olivia Coleman, who is also an Oscar nominee for her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite.

The Favourite, the 18th-century royal drama, kicked off the Awards by winning the prize for best British film.

Actor Rami Malek picked the Best Actor BAFTA for Bohemian Raphsody while Mahershala Ali won Best Supporting Actor for Green Book.
