The party denied the alleged denial as "part of the last kicks of a dying horse, which the Buhari Presidency now represents".

In a statement disclosed by the National Publicity Secretary and Director, Media and Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, the party accused Buhari of presiding over the most corrupt and incompetent administration in the history of Nigeria.

"If the proper thing is not done, we will eventually get hold of them; take away what they have stolen and get them imprisoned".

"The PDP, out of respect for the Office of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, had severally refrained from calling out President Buhari on his various indictments for corruption even during his era as a military ruler".

Oshiomhole's comment is coming weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari was severely criticised for boycotting the presidential debate for the 2019 poll. In Buhari, we have a man who has integrity, who cares for masses and who has your interest at heart. Yemi Osinbajo, National Leader of APC, Chief Bola Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, APC Lagos Governorship Candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, Gov. Atiku Bagudu, Gov. Abiola Ajimobi, Gov. Kayode Fayemi of Kebbi, Oyo and Ekiti states, respectively.

The statement added: "It is also instructive to state that we had earlier scheduled our Lagos Mega Rally for the Tafawa Balewa Square on Saturday until the Buhari Presidency and the APC came up with same date forcing our campaign to opt for Abuja".

"However, any further attack on our campaign will therefore attract very dire response from Nigerians who look up to Atiku Abubakar to salvage our dear nation from the social, economic and political despondency, which President Buhari has plunged her into".

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, maintained that the duty of his administration was to imprison those who had looted the nation's treasury. "Nigeria belongs to all of us and nobody can stop us from exercising our constitutionally guaranteed right of holding our rally in the FCT or any other part of our country for that matter".
