The first is this, the Chiron Sport "110 Ans Bugatti", a 1,479bhp tribute to Bugatti's French roots. Just 20 Chiron Sport "110 Ans Bugatti" models will be built, priced at... well, if you have to ask.

Bugatti is celebrating 110 years and scarcely has any other luxury vehicle brand looked back on as long a tradition as Bugatti.

Following the fall of the monarchy, the French flag symbolized the French revolutions and its ideals. Blue stands for liberty, white for equality, and red for fraternity. Bugatti said in its announcement this follows the form of official French vehicles, which ensure the flag's blue portion is to the fore on both sides of the auto.

The body of this Chiron is predominantly blue carbon fibre. The matte Steel Blue paintwork at the rear of the auto, produced in a complex process, has a sheen like hot-rolled steel.

Other areas like the Bugatti line and the "C structure" surrounding the passenger compartment are also painted Steel Blue.

A subtle two-tone colour scheme marks out the special edition, with Steel Blue matt paint at the rear and Steel Blue Carbon for the exposed carbonfibre at the front.

The livery is created to visually separate the car's monocoque and engine compartment, according to Bugatti. The exhaust is matte black, the brake calipers French Racing Blue, and there are plenty of "110 ans Bugatti" logos both inside the vehicle and out. The aluminium filler cap is sandblasted and hand-polished.

As it's based on a Chiron Sport, it's slightly lighter than the "entry-level" Chiron, and has been fitted with beefier suspension, modified power steering, a tweaked rear differential, plus a torque vectoring system. Matte black is also used for the car's exterior badging, rear spoiler, and exhaust tips. The underside of the rear spoiler is painted with the French flag. Bugatti says the cap is sandblasted before being hand polished to achieve its handsome finish, with the '"110 ans Bugatti' emblem and the Tricolore running vertically through it".

The French tricolour also features at several points in the interior of the "110 ans Bugatti" special edition.

This theme is reflected inside too: the headrests, back of the front seats, and the top point of the steering wheel all feature the tricolour. The sports steering wheel comes finished with a matt carbon fibre with a blue leather cover. The key of the "110 ans Bugatti" is surrounded by three sewn leather patches in the colours of the tricolour.

A specially crafted medallion, meanwhile, is sited in the central console stowage space, fashioned from solid silver with enamel inserts and set on a carbon-fibre plate.

Hyper sports cars have been a Bugatti tradition since the establishment of the brand - they are part of Bugatti's DNA.
