Get ready to enter the freakish world of Jordan Peele's Weird City, as EW got the exclusive first trailer for the six-part YouTube Originals series from the Oscar and Emmy-winning creator on Wednesday. Some Above the Line residents decide to venture Below the Line, where they see laundromats (gasp) and people who don't live lavishly. Every episode he introduces a new innovation that will improve dating, healthcare, transportation, or sex, but resulting in ridiculous situations that the denizens of Weird City just accept as par for the course. Basically, it's like Black Mirror, but amusing. While the episodes will all tell different stories, there will be one constant in the form of Dr. Negari.

Set in an unusual dystopian world in the not-so-distant future in which society has been split into two classes (Above The Line and Below The Line), Weird City, is expected to explore some of today's issues in a rather tongue-in-cheek manner.

"Each episode is a topic that pertains to present day life in America and the world: social media addiction, online dating, fitness obsession, [capturing] the unease of modern urban living, in a freakish and peculiar lens", reads the show's official description. WEIRD CITY captures the unease of modern urban living, in a freaky and peculiar lens.

As well as Michael Cera, there's also Dylan O'Brien, Rosario Dawson, Ed O'Neil, Awkwafina, Steven Yeun and many more. Channeling a tone and world akin to Black Mirror and The Twilight Zone (the latter of which Peele is rebooting for CBS All Access this year), the Weird City trailer shows a high-tech, sleek urban town and an impoverished, unpolished neighborhood, divided by "The Line".

Weird City premieres on February 13, 2019 on YouTube Premium.
