Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly reached agreements with both Sevilla and Atletico Madrid as he nears a possible January exit from Stamford Bridge, although the club is seemingly insistent on sourcing a replacement before letting the Spaniard go.

Morata has endured a hard spell in England since leaving Real Madrid 18 months ago, with his two goals against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup his first goals since a brace against Crystal Palace at the start of November.

Vardy has scored seven goals so far in the Premier League and is one of the options that the Blues are looking at.

And Simeone kept quiet on the talk that they could offer him an escape route in this window.

"I don't speak about players that aren't with us, only those that are".

Former Real Madrid frontman Morata has been linked with a return to LaLiga, though Sevilla said a deal for the Spain worldwide would be "very, very complicated".

"I can't confirm or deny anything because coaches wait to see what the club can do".

Morata started his career in Atletico Madrid's youth team before being signed by Real Madrid.

'The player may want to come here over other options, but it is very complicated.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 5 live, Balague said: "Morata wants to leave Chelsea, it has not been the right club for him".
