Closs was found in Gordon, Wisconsin at 4:43 p.m.by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office after they received a tip from a citizen.

Officials then announced they have found Closs, approximately three hours later.

On the sheriff department's Facebook page later on Thursday evening, Fitzgerald wrote that Closs would be reunited with her family that night.

On Thursday evening the Barron County Sheriff's Department was notified by the Douglas CO WI Sheriff's Department that they had located Jayme Closs alive.

She said the family is waiting to hear about the next steps.

Earlier in the day, the Barron County Sheriff reported that Jayme's case was not connected to a large police presence in Walworth County.

"We are just happy everyone kept praying and didn't give up home like we didn't", Jayme's aunt, Jennifer Smith, told ABC News.

The Barron County Sheriff's Office will be conducting a press briefing tomorrow at 10 am.

We also could not have endured this case without the support of the public and I want to thank them for all the support and help.

Closs disappeared October 15, 2018, the same day her parents - James and Denise Closs - were found shot to death inside their Barron home. Autopsies determined the two died of gunshot wounds and were murdered, and that Closs was inside the home when they were killed. The dispatcher called the number back but was unable to leave a voicemail.

When authorities responded to the home, they found the front door kicked in and the couple had been shot to death.

Jayme was believed to be home at the time of the killings but had been abducted by the time police arrived just minutes after the 911 call, according to authorities.

Jayme Closs, 13, who went missing nearly three months ago from her Wisconsin home, was located alive Thursday evening, according to the Barron County Sheriff's Office. A search was being organized to find the couple's missing daughter.

A $50,000 reward had been offered for any information leading to the discovery of Jayme.
