Lana Del Rey shares new single

She earlier released singles "Mariners Apartment Complex" and "Venice Bitch" in 2018, and lowkey dropped "How To Disappear' when she performed it live alongside Jack Antonoff (and of course fans somehow got their hands on a studio version)".

American poet, novelist, and short-story writer, "Sylvia Plath". It's the ideal absurd teen anthem for this particular moment in time, and leaves us in anticipation of Lana Del Rey's upcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, expected out sometime this year. "Writing in blood on the walls, cause the ink in my pen don't work in my notepad, don't ask if I'm happy, you know that I'm not".

Del Rey revealed the track was on the way last week, when she also shared a snippet of it via social media.

Last week, the singer took to Instagram to announce that her upcoming album Norman Fucking Rockwell has been completed, and that she would be sharing a new single soon.

"Working with Jack, I was in a little bit of a lighter mood because he was so amusing", she told Zane Lowe of Apple Music's Beats 1 (via Variety), when she revealed the album title back in September. "Which is kind of another one of those things I just want out there just for me", she previously said. I hope you enjoy the new song I'm putting out on the ninth. But I thought they're kind of like stacking up to look like a real book. "So I mean, what I'd like to do is sort of self-publish but I'm not very good at the distribution side of things".
