Xiaomi cements Redmi Independency, unveils a new Brand logo

The storage space can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card. Ahead of the unveiling, the alleged Redmi Note 7 was recently spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA's website. Sadly, Xiaomi did not launch the Note 7 with 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 7 has a 48-megapixel rear camera, all-around decent specs, and starts at just 999 CNY or $147. The phone also has a 13MP front-facing camera. The camera app on this device comes loaded with AI features like auto scene detection, AI portrait mode, and AI beauty mode.

On Bluetooth SIG's website, the Redmi Note 7 has been certified under two model numbers - M1901F7G and M1901F7H.

Notably, the Redmi Note 7 was recently spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. It is equipped with some impressive features, including an upper mid-range and capable silicon, USB Type-C and runs Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10. The new Redmi phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The Redmi Note 7 also has an IR Blaster on top.
