Kevin Stefanski is coming back.

On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Stefanski will indeed be returning to Minnesota despite being a finalist for the Browns' head coaching job.

Despite being a finalist for an National Football League head coaching position, it appears Kevin Stefanski will return as the offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings.

In Stefanski's first game, the Vikings rolled up 418 yards, including a season-high 220 on the ground, in a 41-17 win over Miami. But in the season finale, they had a season-low 164 yards of total offense in a 24-10 loss to Chicago that kept them out of the playoffs.

"I think Kevin is a really good football coach. We feel like the continuity is very important, not only for me at the quarterback position but for the entire offense, for the young players learning the system and for our coaching staff to have the familiarity as well", Cousins said.

"I just liked how he just let us play free".

"When we get back, we're going to be 110 percent in for him", running back Dalvin Cook said.

In Stefanski's first game as OC against the Dolphins, Cook had hist first 100-yard game of the season, rushing for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
