Nintendo is launching a pair of games featuring two of their most beloved characters this coming March, per a report from Business Wire.

Yoshi's Crafted World sees the titular egg-throwing dinosaur explore a crafted world that looks entirely handmade, with lovely cardboard environments comprised of boxes and other household items.

One wrinkle to the usual platformer proceedings is that "stages can be played backwards, providing new perspectives to explore and new ways to locate some of the more craftily hidden items".

If you're a fan of Yoshi and Kirby you are going to love the month of March. The game is an enhanced version of the Nintendo Wii classic Kirby's Epic Yarn, where our marshmallow-like hero is transported into a world made of cloth and yarn. This being a Nintendo Switch title, you can play the game as a two-player co-op.

Nintendo has surprised everyone and dropped the release date for both Yoshi's Crafted World on the Switch and the 3DS port of Kirby's Epic Yarn out of nowhere.

Yoshi's Crafted World launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 29th. For one thing, there are new minigames featuring everybody's favorite anti-heroes Meta Knight and King Dedede, as well as new furniture to deck out Kirby's Pad with a unique "Devilish" mode that adds challenge to each stage.

Nintendo has also incorporated amiibo support in the form of "Kirby hats and abilities", so you'll have another reason to bust out your figures before sending them back to wherever it is they're stashed.
