Valencia coach Marcelino has indicated that he has run out of patience with Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi following his side's defeat to Sporting Gijon on Tuesday night.

Michy Batshuayi has had his loan to Valencia cut short, confirmed the La Liga club's general director Mateu Alemany.

Michy Batshuayi's time at Valencia is coming to an end.

The Belgium worldwide has scored only three goals in 23 appearances for Valencia in all competitions this season.

"Batshuayi's situation is very clear", Alemany said on Thursday.

The Chelsea forward was a disappointment in Spain, scoring only twice in 23 matches for the club. The player knows he is leaving, we told him some weeks ago.

He was quoted as saying by Spanish daily AS: "I think we have to bring in players".

The Belgian striker was taken on-loan from Stamford Bridge in the summer after the World Cup with Valencia trying to aim as high as possible in the league.

Everton have been crying out for a prolific frontman with Cenk Tosun falling out of favour under Marco Silva, and Oumar Niasse deemed not good enough.

Premier League rules do not permit English top-flight clubs to loan more than one player to the same club.
