The rocket has been seeing great progress and that makes us really excited. The construction cost of the spacecraft is estimated at $5 billion.

Elon Musk has released a teaser of the SpaceX Starship, and many are intrigued and trying to take the ideal picture of yet another marvel from SpaceX.

Starship test vehicle under assembly will look similar to this illustration when finished. The new ship has been named the Starship Alpha or Starship Hopper and has been spotted at the South Texas Launch Site in Boca Chica, Texas, where it is being assembled by SpaceX workers. According to various sources, the real thing is supposed to be much better when compared with this prototype.

Elon Musk has been teasing SpaceX's Starship test vehicle for some time. It is also going to be 30 ft wide and much taller than the prototype which will be serving as the test-mule.

In December, Musk shared a picture of the Starship vehicle and revealed that it would be made out of stainless steel, like the Atlas rockets of 1950s, but would have different architectural style.

He also went on to share a mock-up photo of the Starship test vehicle in his tweet.

SpaceX intends to use the Starship as its primary launch vehicle, replacing the current Falcon rockets. Some initially believed that the rocket would feature the company's Raptor engines at its base, which Musk verified by noting that the engines now attached to the ship are "a blend of Raptor development & operational parts".

The Musk fans took to Twitter for sharing their excitement on the latest development that has been put forward by SpaceX in the form of Starship.

Starship - previously known as BFR, Big Falcon Rocket, or the Big F***ing Rocket - is the crux of Musk's plans to send humans to Mars. However, Musk has confirmed that Starship's final version will have windows.
