Older people were like, 'You gotta get your shit together and we were like fuck you!' So I was excited to be in my fifties and see people in their twenties and be like, 'You're crazy!' But they're not.

"You're not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot", C.K. said. What are they doing? You're young, you should be insane, you should be unhinged, not in a suit saying "I'm here to tell". You should be unhinged! Because you went to a high school where kids got shot? "Not in a suit, saying 'I'm here to tell...' [Expletive] you", says CK. Why does that make you interesting. "You're a child! Why aren't you finger-fucking each other and doing Jell-O shots?"

But a rightwing commentator wrote: "Louis CK 2.0 is amusing as hell!" Will always be trash. But his comedy is also trash. Yeah, probably, but judging by the amount of people already willing to defend him all over the internet, this kind of material likely already has an audience ready and waiting, whether we try to ignore him or not-just not an audience anyone should be proud to cultivate. "Because he, & it, are trash", one Twitter user wrote.

Then he talks about the Parkland survivors, many of whom vowed to fight for gun control in the US after living through the deadliest high school shooting in the country's history after 17 were killed February 14, 2018, in Parkland, Florida. A fifth, anonymous woman alleged that while working on The Chris Rock Show in the late 1990s, C.K. masturbated while she sat with him in his office, and a co-worker corroborated her story to the Times.

Louis then said: 'I don't know. 'You should address me as they/them.

"Older people were like, 'You gotta get your [expletive] together and we were like, 'Yeah, [expletive] you!' So I was excited to be in my fifties and [to] see people in their twenties and be like, 'You're insane!"

Louis C.K., who built a career on shock humor, telling crude and often dark jokes, began that set by saying he lost $35 million in one day following the sexual misconduct allegations against him. "I will now step back and take a long time to listen", he said in a statement at the time.

The caption of the since-deleted YouTube clip claimed that the stand-up set took place on December 16 at Governor's Comedy Club in Levittown, New York, according to Variety.

An attorney for C.K. did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
