The Project Stream tech test from Google, featuring a fully playable version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, is offering qualifying participants the opportunity to continue their journey on Uplay PC.

Project Stream, rumored in June and revealed in October, is a streaming services from Google which allows folks to play games through the Chrome browser.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is one of the best games of 2018, and honestly sits as one of the best games I've played in the past few years.

Anyone that test Project Stream, no matter for how long, will also receive 1,000 Helix credits, equivalent to $10 on the Uplay store, Ubisoft said in a blog post.

For your chance at a copy, head over to the Project Stream website and sign up. But if you play for an hour or more between now and January 15, you'll also get a copy of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey to install and play locally through your Uplay account, free of charge. And spending an hour playing an Assassin's Creed game isn't hard to do at all. Players that already have a copy of Assassin's Creed Odyssey tied to their Uplay account will not be eligible for a free copy of the game. If you get an invite to the test, you'll have until January 15 to try it out and play Odyssey to your heart's content. Ubisoft today announced the promo and confirmed that all Project Stream saved data progress would carry over to your new PC version, but your Helix credits won't make the jump.
