While critics have rendered the market of tablets as mostly useless, certain big names of the industry such as Apple, Samsung and Microsoft are constantly trying to breathe new life into the segment with flagship-grade devices.

While Flipkart has created this landing page for the Surface Go, which you can check out right here, there's no official word on when Microsoft plans to officially launch the device.

"Flipkart has opened a dedicated page with hash-tag "#OnTheGo" with coming soon message and the Surface Go image confirming the device launch is imminent.

For those who don't know, the Surface Go sports a 10-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 1800x1200 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Surface Go also features the hinge design similar to what we have seen on the Surface Pro products. The tablet runs on Windows 10 and is underpinned by an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor. It runs on 64-bit Windows 10 Operating System, which runs on Microsoft's proprietary Windows 10 in S mode. However, there's no speculating as the Surface Go starts at $399 for its 4GB+64GB variant and you'll have to shell out $549 for its 8GB+128GB variant.

It also packs in two cameras, yes, an 8MP sensor on the rear and a 5MP sensor on the front with Windows Hello facial recognition. We have now discovered a hidden webpage on Flipkart that confirms the device will go on pre-order today.

For wireless connectivity and I/O, the Surface Go features Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.1, as well as USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio, Surface Connect, and microSDXC ports. As for the pricing, the Surface Go 4GB variant is priced at Rs 37,999 whereas the larger 8GB option is priced at Rs 49,999.

Relatively low pricing is also one of the key appeals of the Surface Go lineup - prices start at $399 (approximately Rs. 28,640) and go up to $679 (approximately Rs. 48,735) in the United States of America, not including a Type Cover or Surface Pen.
