Fortnite streamer MrDeadMoth has reportedly been arrested after footage of him appearing to physically assault his wife on a live stream went viral Saturday.

"A man has been charged after the alleged assault of a Camden woman was captured as he livestreamed to an online gaming site", the NSW Police recently confirmed in a Facebook post.

Footage shared on Twitter showed the man, who was not named, shouting to someone offscreen "I said I'll be out soon" before moving away from the computer monitor.

The man disappears from the screen, and the sound of a slap is heard, followed by crying.

NSW Police attended a home in Oran Park in Sydney's south-west around 11.30pm Sunday night after a witness reported the alleged assault of a 21-year-old woman.

"You're a f***ing woman basher", she sobs, before her voice addresses those watching the livestream.

"How many times do I have to tell you?" "Do you hear that, all you people there?"

In a second video, the confrontation continues.

When the man gets up again, more screams are heard from off camera from both a woman and a child, who yells, "Daddy, daddy!" "You don't pay the f--ing bills", the man responds, before continuing with the game.

Police also served him with an order which prohibits him from harassing, threatening and intimidating behaviour.

He has been granted conditional bail and will appear in Camden Local court on Thursday.

"While the woman was not seriously injured she was distressed and shaken by the incident", New South Wales police said in a statement via email.

In the wake of the alleged incident, which took place yesterday, the streamer's Twitch and Twitter accounts have been deactivated.
