The man was hospitalized with minor injuries, and, upon release, will face disorderly conduct charges.

Police say one person was arrested at the restaurant in Arlington Wednesday.

The Cheesecake Factory is celebrating their 40th birthday with thousands of slices of free cheesecake.

Customers can cash in on this sweet deal by ordering through DoorDash and using the promo code FREESLICE and an individual slice of cheesecake or layer cake will be delivered as part of their "Day of 40,000 Slices".

Police spokeswoman Ashley Savage says nearby roads were jammed, would-be delivery drivers were double-parked and there were reports of a fistfight.

In addition, people will also get free delivery until December 11 - no promotional code needed.

Police did not see anyone fighting when they arrived.

While at the scene, authorities were called to the restaurant for a reported fight. Cheesecake Factory employees allegedly requested police to remove the man, but he struggled with officers inside the eatery.

Virginia man arrested, is expected to be charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to leave the restaurant.

A DoorDash spokesperson told Fox News they are 'aware of this incident, and are cooperating with local law enforcement'.
