Mumbai: Simmba trailer has become the talk of the town, and right after, the makers released the first song from the film, the much-awaited "Aankh Marey", and it is flawless for the party season!

The video of the song starts with Karan Johar dancing to the beat of the song.

Dressed in black on a set full of neon lights, Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh present their glossy version of the original song, which featured Arshad Warsi, Simran and background dancers dressed as Mumbai's cab drivers. For the first time we get to see Sara Ali Khan shake a leg to a dance number and she's absolutely good at what she's doing.

There is also a cameo of the Golmaal team. "Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu do the "Golmaal" step with the lead pair only to be joined by Arshad Warsi and do the 'Aankh Marey" step with everyone.

The Simmba version of "Aankh Marey" has been sung by Mika Singh and Neha Kakkar with lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed. The song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.

There's no denying that one of the highlights of Arshad Warsi's debut movie, Tere Mere Sapne, was the music album.

The new track is fun, nostalgic and upbeat.

Interestingly, on December 6, 1996, the original version of the song Aankh Marey had released.
