In the latest Oxygen OS open beta 7 build for OnePlus 6, besides the usual bug-squashing and interface enhancements, there are two cool new features that will make your spring chicken even more enticing than it already is. "OnePlus Roaming lets you surf the Internet without a local SIM card", the company writes in the forum post.

Alongside the OnePlus Roaming service, the OxygenOS Open Beta 7 brings a Video Enhancer feature that is created to enhance colours to deliver your a better video watching experience. Called OnePlus Roaming, the new service is touted to work in most of the countries and regions around the globe.

Users can find OnePlus Roaming under Settings Wi-Fi & Internet OnePlus Roaming.

The other new feature is pretty awesome for those who travel overseas and puts OnePlus on equal footing with other Chinese makers like Huawei or Xiaomi which have had this for a while now.

On top of this, Open Beta 7 brings OnePlus 6 users 'Video Enhancer.' This mode enhances colours when watching videos, making them look better. There will be different internet packages to purchase in certain regions, so if you use the feature you'll be prompted to buy one. For now, the feature is limited to beta testers using OnePlus 6 devices although we can at least expect the 6T to receive the service sooner than later. The update brings vibration support while hanging up and includes a bunch of UI improvements for emergency rescue. Migrating back to the stable channel after flashing the Open Beta would require a complete data wipe. The update also adds User Agreement and Privacy Policy to the launcher. OnePlus also hasn't forgotten about their previous flagship, as the OnePlus 6 has now received its newest Open Beta release adding in new features to the smartphone. Well, to enhance the Video, the user needs to go to the Setting of the device and then select the Display option.

If you are now running an OxygenOS Open Beta on your OnePlus 6, you'll receive the new update via an OTA (over-the-air) package. Comment in the section below and stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more news and updates.
