Diddy and Porter were a couple on-and-off from 1994 until they split for good in 2007.

The cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Also posting to IG was Porter's eldest son, Quincy, who she had with former R&B singer Al B Sure.

Simmons said she was told Porter was sleeping, prompting her to rush to her friend's home on Thursday.

"For the last three days I've been trying to wake up out of this nightmare", the grieving hip hop mogul wrote on Instagram on November 18th, as he shared a video of them together from an Essence magazine cover shoot accompanied by SWV's "When U Cry".
