Sunset Overdrive grinds onto PC today minus multiplayer

A little over a week ago, we picked up the achievement list for a PC version of Sunset Overdrive (Win 10) indicating the game would be making its way to the Windows 10 store and laying to rest the long-running rumours. For starters, it runs far smoother than it did on Xbox, and looks sharper too, as the game had to cut back on the pixels on its original platform. It's a good game, and nearly certainly worth the price, given that it includes a good slab of DLC on top of everything, but it's a pity it's an incomplete version. Hopefully this new PC version will come with all the bells and whistles to keep us all happy.

Sunset Overdrive was originally released in 2014 and garnered stellar reviews.

Currently, only the Windows 10 version of the game has been mentioned, which is good news for those that already own the Xbox version, as they won't have to buy it a second time.

Sunset Overdrive feels halfway between Insomniac's colourful cartoon Ratchet & Clank series and their more grounded, open-world PS4 Spider-Man game. The Sunset Overdrive description states, "the year is 2027 and Sunset City is under siege". You won't have to spend any more to experience the entire package. A contaminated energy drink has transformed most of the population into toxic mutants. With hyper-agility, unique weapons, and customizable abilities, Sunset Overdrive aims to rewrite the rules of shooters while delivering an irreverent adventure. Outgun crazed mutants, homicidal robots, and villainous thugs on your journeys with the included weapons Pack. I highly suggest you pick it up even if you're a tad bit interested.
