Among the topics covered is a June 2016 meeting between the president's son, Donald Trump Jr., other members of Trump's campaign team and a group of Russians, the source said.

According to a report from CBS, new indictments could be handed down in the Mueller probe as early as Tuesday - per sources identified as having knowledge of the special counsel's investigation.

President Trump's legal team is finalizing answers to written questions from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and could submit them as soon as the end of this week, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News on Tuesday.

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump's attorneys have repeatedly resisted answering questions about whether the president had obstructed justice by firing FBI Director James Comey in May 2017.

The questions, as ABC News has previously reported, center on alleged Russian meddling during the 2016 election cycle, which Mueller is tasked with investigating. Moscow has denied any interference, while Trump has denied any collusion with Russian Federation and any obstruction of justice.
