Eric Ebron has career day in Colts’ win

Jacksonville dropped their fifth straight, falling to the Colts 29-26. He played well in defeat.

Leonard Fournette is expected to return Sunday. The Colts beat them in the second game of the season on the road, and looked good in doing so. Marlon Mack then converted a two-point conversion to put the Colts up 29-13 with under two minutes to play in the half. Try as Bortles and this offense did, they could not overcome the deficit.

Reich's comments explain why he refused to panic when many things - including his decision to go for the win in an overtime loss to Houston - seemed to backfire. Most importantly, he managed just seven touchdowns in the final two seasons.

The Jaguars' defense wasn't ideal in the second half, either. So far, the offense looks that way o looks to be on the path toward improvement. Or are those wins just a byproduct of not being one of the worst teams in the league? It's tough to get to the quarterback. The defense could've been a little tighter for the Colts, as the Jaguars were able to score two touchdowns in the first two quarters and then knock in a key field goal just before the end of the half, but it's hard to really harshly criticize any aspect when you're up 13 points going into the break.

Among the quarterbacks he trashed then, and he got majority, were the Colts' Andrew Luck (Ramsey said he was not "that good") and next week's opponent, Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers ("I think he's decent at best"). "I mean this offensive line is playing really well". Punter Logan Cooke completed a 4-yard pass on a fake field goal, which kept the Jags' 17-play drive alive to open the second half. The coaching staff has been questioned. The defense has regressed to something unrecognisable from a year ago, Blake Bortles hasn't improved, and Fournette's injury woes have continued.

A team is only as good as their record indicates.

This was supposed to be the year that the Jacksonville Jaguars made the step up from a team with potential to a realistic Super Bowl contender.

The Jaguars had 415 yards of total offense on Sunday. It is the longest run by a Colt since 12/18/11 when Donald Brown had an 80-yard touchdown run and the longest of Wilkins' career.

T.J. Yeldon caught passes of 6 and 8 yards and ran for 9 prior to Greene's game-sealing fumble.

"Things happen", the FSU alum said. "It's a lot of the same guys out there that were a part of that team and that run that we had previous year, too". I don't know what those guys who are a part of those busted coverages are seeing. But also, the reality is that we're 3-6 and have lost five straight. "There's not a play that gets called that we don't think protection first". So we've got to get that stopped, get it turned around and finish the season strong and then whatever happens at the end, happens.

At this time last season, we were lauding the defense and a rookie running back that punished opponents.

The Colts look to start a three-week stretch at Lucas Oil Stadium with a win on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. And with the struggles on defense, will Pittsburgh pick Jacksonville apart underneath in the passing game? That's the state of this football team right now.
