But apparently this was not something the Queen would take. Reportedly, Meghan had picked up a tiara with emeralds but she was told that it was impossible for her to wear it.

Meghan and the monarch reportedly fell out over which tiara she would wear for the occasion. The history of the tiara could not be established and there was a possibility that its origin was in Russian Federation.

While their May 19 nuptials at St. George's Chapel were rife with handsome moments - from Prince Harry's sweet "wow" when he caught sight of his bride for the first time to Prince George consoling an upset bridesmaid - her walk down the aisle really took the cake.

The duchess wore a diamond and platinum bandeau tiara made for Queen Mary in 1932 for her wedding.

The Queen was forced to speak to Prince Harry about Meghan Markle's attitude in the run-up to their wedding after a disagreement about which tiara she would wear, it was claimed today.

"He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making amusing noises and laughing and my grandchildren adore him, absolutely adore him", she says. "I've been brought up well, you've got to say thank you", Harry explained of the moment.

"There was a very heated exchange that prompted the Queen to speak to Harry".

Meghan apparently did not understand the staff of the Royal family had to be treated with a certain amount of respect and gratitude.

Meghan's parents were divorced and while she did have a comfortable childhood and a solid education, Kate Middleton lived a far more luxurious lifestyle before she married Prince William. She has very high standards and is used to working in a Hollywood environment.

"The queen also questioned why Meghan needed a veil for the wedding, given it was to be her second marriage".

The news follows reports the duke and duchess will not seek a royal title for their baby so that he or she will lead a normal life.
