First up on the originals front for 2019 is Go! Go! The next two are geared specifically toward preschoolers: Trash Truck (2020) will explore a 6-year-old boy's relationship with-you guessed it-a trash truck, while Go! Go! Smart Wheels from VTech Electronics, Go! Go!

Kid Cosmic and Trash Truck are both now in production, with rollouts planned for 2020. In terms of TV shows, The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracke has been hired to make Kid Cosmic, a new series which will focus on the struggles of a young boy who becomes a superhero. And Trash Truck comes from Max Keane, who was the production designer on Oscar-winning animated short film Dear Basketball. Here are some of Netflix's upcoming animation series. The show, which takes place in a mythical world, follows a warrior princess on a mission to find a trio of legendary fighters to help save the world of men and gods.

Variety reports that Gutierrez will direct Maya and the Three-a nine-episode limited series set to release in 2021-as well as co-write and co-executive produce with Elena of Avalor's Silvia Olivas, and Moana's Jeff Ranjo will serve as head of story.

Padding out its feature film pipeline, Netflix has partnered with Vancouver's BRON Animation on The Willoughbys, a CGI-animated pic now in production from writer/director Kris Pearn (Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2).

Variety is reporting that USA streaming giant Netflix has announced six new animated projects, including My Father's Dragon from Nora Twomey and Cartoon Saloon, who were Academy Award nominated earlier this year (for the third time) for The Breadwinner.

The film is based on the series of children's books by Ruth Gannett Stiles about a young boy, Elmer Elevator, who runs away to Wild Island to rescue a baby Dragon.
