She is rarely seen in public with Bella or Connor, and rarely speaks about them to the media.

In an interview with Who, Nicole Kidman spoke about her relationship to her oldest children, Isabella and Connor, who she adopted in the '90s with her ex-hubby Tom Cruise.

It's a decision that reportedly drove a wedge between the kids and Nicole - the Moulin Rouge! star hasn't been pictured with her adopted offspring in over a decade and continues to fail to mention them at key public events.

She previously told Vogue magazine she had chosen to keep that part of her family's life out of the public eye on goal, adding at the time: "I have two children who are Scientologists - Connor and Isabella - and I utterly respect their beliefs". "This movie is a love letter to my children", she told Town & Country magazine.

'They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it's my job to love them, ' the Australian actress told WHO Magazine.

Kidman did not attend Isabella's wedding in 2015.

The 51-year-old actress and Mission Impossible star, who married in 1990, adopted daughter Isabella and son Connor during their 11-marriage, but reports of family fractions formed in the wake of their 2001 split after the children went to live with their father and followed him into the Church of Scientology.

Speaking about her relationship with her children, Kidman, raised Catholic, said: "I'm very private about all that". Just remember Nicole Kidman.

"She was declared an SP and left the church, and she's doing OK".

In May, Kidman revealed in an interview that one of the reasons she and Cruise did not have any biological children together was that she had a miscarriage early into one of her pregnancies.

Despite being erased from her children's lives, the Big Little Lies star says she'll always support them - but she still believes it's "wrong" that the Church encourages the severing of their relationships with her.

Last month, Kidman made a rare comment about her ten-year marriage to Tom Cruise to NY magazine, saying that his power protected her from sexual harrassment.

"Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I'm always reluctant to talk about, because I'm married now to the man who is my great love [Keith Urban], and it nearly feels disrespectful", she explained.

"I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed", she said.
