England coach Eddie Jones could replace Curry with Sam Underhill against the All Blacks, while Mark Wilson, who was named man-of-the-match against the Springboks having started at number eight and switched to the flank in the second half, is another option.

The ankle problem that forced Curry to depart in the second half of the 12-11 victory over South Africa this weekend has now made him a significant doubt for the second Quilter International.

Underhill - nicknamed the "white orc" by Dylan Hartley, the England co-captain, because of his apparent resemblance to a Lord of The Rings character - will be expected to help lead the resistance to the All Blacks.

New Zealand will take on Ireland in Dublin on November 18, and conclude their tour of the northern hemisphere with a trip to Rome to face Italy on November 25.

Leicester team-mate Ben Youngs, the England scrum-half, is eager for more of the same this weekend.

'We know what a world-class operator Manu is, ' Youngs told Sky Sports.

Asked what personnel changes he would make for the challenge of playing the No 1 side in the world, Sir Clive Woodward said he would like to see largely the same team, but would like Manu Tuilagi to be given a run if available. It settles down the boys to know that he's there'. You know against New Zealand you're going to have to score tries, simply trying to slot penalties probably isn't going to be enough because of the threat they pose.

'Our belief is very good. I'm really please he's able to get back out there.

"I think when we look at the physical nature of the game, how they are training, sometimes things are going really good off the park and it hasn't quite gelled to the extent they want on the park".

He said: "We know they're going to have an ideal preparation for the game; they'll be up for the game".

"We want to make sure that we give the best account of ourselves and how that is, is making sure we get our game-plan clarity absolute right and then we're able to execute on Saturday".
